SEVENTEEN SHAZAM GUIDE
Shazam is an application that can identify music, movies, advertising, and television shows, based on a short sample played and using the microphone on the device.
IOS users can shazam only twice per device per day. One shazam from SHAZAM app and another shazam from SNAPCHAT. So IOS users should try to shazam from as many devices as possible (i.e. iphone, ipad, mac etc)
👤 I shazamed the song but the number of shazam doesn’t increase. Why?- SHAZAM app takes an hour or more to update the number of shazam👤 Does shazam counts if I don't log in the app?- Yes! You can shazam without logging in the app and it does count every shazams👤 On which device we can shazam multiple times?- Android devices and PC.👤 Can we shazam multiple on apple devices too?- No! We can shazam a song once per day on apple devices.👤 Is logging in the app necesaary?- I would suggest not to log in the SHAZAM app because if you clear data, it again restores the history of previous shazam if we log in. So to be more safe, it's better not to log in (only android users)👤 Can we shazam same song multiple times on SNAPCHAT?- No! You can shazam one song one time per day.👤 What should we click before shazaming the song again? Clear data or Clear cache? (only android users)- Clear data
1. Play a SEVENTEEN song.
2. Open the SNAPCHAT app.
3. Press and hold your finger on the camera screen OR click the SCAN while the song plays in the background.
4. As soon as, SNAPCHAT recognises the song, a pop-up will appear with the cover art, song title and the artist name.
5. Tap the LISTEN to open a music streaming app OR the SONG INFO option to view more details.
6. Once you shazamed the song, it will be added to a list of all songs that you have shazamed till nowA SONG CAN BE SHAZAMED ON SNAPCHAT ONLY ONCE ON EVERY DECIVES
SWITCH LOCATION ON:
Turning on the location while shazaming a song, helps the song to chart in your country's shazam chart as well as in Global charts. If the location is disabled, your shazam will only contribute to Global charts.
AUTO-SHAZAM:
You can auto-shazam a song by holding the shazam button for a while. But auto-shazam counts only one shazam per devices if you don't clear data (android users)
